In the main phase, we will need ranged to alternate who is taking the Ice Lances (three are up per cast), much like the burning orbs from Majordomo. Switch at 4 stacks to start off, and then simply move into the lances when your debuff falls off and you have a break in your rotation. There are only 15 stacks per cast of the ability, so there should only be 3-4 trades. We will set up accountabilibuddies for this purpose, three per lance to account for Ice Tombed people.

The lightning phase has 4 conductors, just like in normal mode and LFR. We have to be much quicker and methodical about how we chain, though. Melee should chain the first conductor on either side, with ranged booking it to chain the far side. We will put healers in the middle of each group so that they can keep people up. Aspect of the Wild will be a huge plus during this phase.

The ice phase will require us to step into the water bubble before being dispelled, as well as to avoid the ice wave in emergencies. The guide suggests running as a single group, with a few key people (ice blocking mages, dispersing shadow priests, bubbling pallies, etc) allowing the ice wall to pass over them in order to finish off the last two crystals.

If you are not selected for the initial 25-man team, DO NOT WORRY. The following could happen:

1.) A person in the raid disconnects frequently/has an emergency and needs to leave.

If this happens, you could be picked up to complete the raid with us, and I will give you bonus EP for the bosses you were not present for. A positive attitude in this regard will also earn you additional favor.

2.) A person in the raid cannot conduct themselves properly/shows themself to be an idiot.
3.) A person in the raid puts out unacceptable dps/hps and needs to be replaced.

If either of these things happens, you could be picked up to replace them permanently. Once you are in, you will not be removed from the core progression team unless one of the above things happens.

ADDITIONALLY:

There will be a weekend DS raid for the remaining raiders and core raider alts. This is where you will have the opportunity to show that you can pull 50k dps with a 378 ilvl.

The tentative times for this will be Fri 8-11pm and Sunday 8-10pm. Since it will not be a progression raid, EPGP will not be used and loot will be MS/OS. If these times are no good for you, send me an in-game mail so I can see if there's enough people with an issue to justify changing the proposed times.

Several people have asked me about a Heroic Firelands raid. At this point I am going to suggest a 10-man group, Saturday from 2-5pm.
We'll see who shows up.

Raid invites will begin at 6:45 server... we will be having inspections, so the actual raid start time may vary. Targeting 7-7:30.

Make SURE you have the correct mods installed in advance of Tuesday and can log into our Mumble server.

I would not trust the suggested talent specs blindly. There are other resources on the web that suggest very different setups. Do some research.
